The World Conservation Award provides an opportunity for individual Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, and Venturers to "think globally" and "act locally" to preserve and improve our environment. This program is designed to make youth members aware that all nations are closely related through natural resources and that we are interdependent with our world environment.

I will be having me project build day at my house on Nov 19 (saturday) I will be looking for scouts to help me on the build day where lunch will also be provided. I will also need scouts to help me on the install day Nov 20. If you can make it to the build day scouts should bring safty googles/glasses and gloves.  If you can make it to the install day you should bring gloves.

It has come to that time in my scouting career that i start my eagle project.

I will be having my bake sale this saturday, November 5. This is the same day as the scouting for food but will be a bit later.

I would like to thank everyone who helped out with my Eagle fundraiser yesterday (Nov 5).  It was a great success and I was able to exceed my target goal of $500!
