Hey just wanted to let everyone know that the grand total from Scouting for Food was 10,897 items. Although this was great, we did fall short of our total last year of 13,500. I was very glad to see a lot of Troop 414 members today. Thank you to everyone that helped.
I hope that you have all had a restful and enjoyable summer! I am writing to you in need of some assistance. I am planning on holding a bake sale this Thursday September 5 at the Manchester Farmers' Market. As you can probably imagine, it would be very difficult to have a bake stand without any baked goods, so I am asking that you all help me by donating some tasty treats to help me out. Since the bake sale is this Thursday before the first meeting of the year, I will need you to drop off any of the baked goods at my house either Tuesday or Wednesday. My address is 219 Campbell Rd. in Bedford.
I have already acquired all of the help I need to actually run the bake stand, so I will not need any scout volunteers.
