Summer camp at Camp Bell is a great week of bonding, adventure and practicing your scout skills. Scouts choose activities as a patrol, and will experience 5 different adventures throughout the week. They stay in camp-provided tents and cook their own meals in the campsite. A week of fun and adventure awaits, as you get to know the members of your patrol and learn to work as a team.
We will have a briefing on the summer camp programs at Camp Bell and Hidden Valley on 16 February for those who have not yet attended summer camp or who want to learn more about the programs. The brief will be provided by folks from Council. This year we will try and organize a provisional patrol for those scouts who cannot attend during the usual troop dates. Please mark your calendars and join us on the 16th!
In light of the limitations placed on the Daniel Webster Council Executive Committee assuming the Governor will adopt all or most of the recommendations, and in the interest of the health and safety of our Scouts, volunteers, camp staff and our extended scout families, the Executive Committee has decided to not open up its summer camps for the 2020 season.
