Jack McCahill will be holding a work day for his Eagle Scout Project (American Flag Repository) at his house on Saturday, May 21 from 10 am to 2 pm. All materials and safety equipment will be provided along with pizza and drinks. He will be at the troop meeting this Thursday (May 19) if you are interested in signing up.
T414 Scouts, Would you like to find out about "Ham Radio?" The annual JOTA gets Amateur Radio (Ham) operators together with scouts on Saturday, October 18th. At Camp Carpenter from 09:00-14:30 (2:30). A class on the Radio Merit Badge will be held again this year. There will be a "Ham" station operating at several locations, demonstrating how it works and in some cases putting you "on the air!"

Interested in amateur radio? Want to participate in an international Scouting event without the cost of a plane ticket? Then come to Scouting Museum at Camp Carpenter on October 15 from 9:00am to 4:30pm to participate in the 54th annual Jamboree on the Air! Ham radio operators and members of the American Radio Relay League will be on hand with equipment to get Scouts on the air and in touch with Scouts around the world while teaching about the many types and uses of amateur radio.
For those attending James Trent's EAgle Scout Project he will be meeting at the back of the Trinity Life Community Church at 12 Station Rd. Please bring safety googles and power screw drivers if you have them.
