The forecast for next weekend though changing indicates lows will either be in the negative single digits or the positive single digits. For any scouts attending the Klondike campout please plan clothing and sleeping bags accordingly. From personal experience the temperature ratings on sleeping bags is not necessarily a comfort factor but more that you will be cold if it gets to the rated temperature. In other words if you have a 0 degree bag you will be cold if it gets to 0 degrees. Scouts should plan accordingly and double up sleeping bags if needed. I have received an unofficial email that Klondike will be cancelled this Saturday. I should receive an official email in a few hours. So at this time do not plan on Klondike. I am waiting to hear if there will be a reschedule date.
Please plan to attend and serve this Sunday for Scout Sunday. Remember this is our once a year service to Bedford Presbyterian Church as our Charter Organization.
